We had a large party of 8 enjoy a wonderful brunch here around 11:30 on 7/11. We were warmly welcomed and took a seat to review the menu for a few minutes before ordering. The music great and atmosphere was charming. The drinks were beautiful and delicious. The food was scrumptious. Especially the toast! Delicious! We also tried the banana bread and zucchini muffins. Everything was wonderful, and we had a good time!

Yes, the pastries are sweet—but they’re built on fresh, quality ingredients baked daily. The flavors are balanced, homemade, and the kind that remind you what real baking tastes like. It’s absolutely worth the drive. Here’s what we tried: ☕ Coffee Banana Bread – Fluffy, incredibly moist, with just the right hint of coffee without overpowering the banana. 🥥 Lamington – Chocolate sponge cake rolled in coconut after being coated on every side with house-made chocolate syrup so the coconut sticks perfectly. If you love coconut, this is a must-order. 🌰 Gluten-Free Macadamia Brownie – Rich, fudgy, and packed with buttery macadamia nuts. You’d never guess it was gluten-free. 🥓 Bacon & Vegetable Frittata – Hands down the best-seasoned, perfectly baked frittata I’ve ever had. It comes with a quinoa salad that was so good my wife stole most of mine and refused to share. 🍓 Scone with House-Made Cream & Strawberry Jam – Exactly what you want with your morning coffee. It has that old farmhouse, homemade feel that’s getting harder and harder to find. 🫐 Gluten-Free

The flat white was popularized in Australia. I felt I had to order one when I saw this coffee shop leaning into its Aussie roots — and it was absolutely worth it. One of the best flat whites I’ve had in a long, long time (and trust me, I’ve had plenty). The milk was perfectly creamy, the coffee itself was rich and fantastic.

We popped into Nashville Cafe downtown and it immediately felt like one of those hidden little gems you’re glad you stumbled into. The space itself is adorable—think industrial loft vibes with exposed brick, warm wood accents, and that cozy, slightly artsy feel you get from an old brick building repurposed just right. It’s the kind of place that feels calm and intimate, especially tucked into a quieter downtown pocket that gives off small-city charm in the best way. I ordered a loose-leaf green tea (I won’t even attempt to pronounce the name), brewed French-press style, and it was so good—earthy, smooth, and surprisingly reminiscent of crispy rice mixed with green tea. Warm, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared. My husband went with an Americano, which was solid and well-balanced. They do offer food and small bites, but what really stood out was how community-forward the space feels. Was visiting Lubbock for my significant other’s graduation. Found this cute cafe. I came here to do some work while the girls get ready in the hotel room. The atmosphere was very welcoming. There are plug outlets everywhere to allow for computer charging. I was able to find myself a nice little corner and do some work. The ambiance makes focusing easy. The drip coffee with oatmilk was an excellent brew. I ordered the avocado toast with fried egg on top and it was delectable. Also got the granola cup which was energizing. Overall great place to come for meeting up with friends and catching up, or to simply get some work done in a welcoming atmosphere.
